The Church exists to worship God, to love and build up its members, and serve the world around it by being an agent of God’s blessing. Jesus initiated the church to advance His kingdom (His rule and reign on earth as in heaven), for freedom, reconciliation and abundant life.

We believe everyone has a part to play in the church community and we all contribute in different ways to love and serve each other, spiritually, practically and financially.

To facilitate, worship, celebration, and ministry to those in need, the church operates through donations. Jesus was supported by hosts and donors, and he instructed his disciples to find “people of peace” to support them as they ministered. He commended those who gave generously and advocated a life of overflowing abundance (“freely you have received – freely give”).

Similarly, the apostle Paul variously worked, stayed in the homes of hospitable people, and received monetary gifts for support. He commended others who supported ministry, and stressed that gifts should not be given under compulsion, but freely, according to one‘s own conscience, and cheerfully, which is pleasing to God.

Freedom Life Church is a not-for-profit organisation. We gratefully receive all financial gifts and prayerfully consider their use to facilitate worship, service to our church family and support for those in need.
